Y’s Skirt with belt
In a deep rich midnight blue, this Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto Skirt is made most notable by drawstring waistline. Delicately rough, the woollen belt has 8 points of contact, with the outer seams clearly visible for the wearer. Front zipper, follows a middle seam of the skirt that drops to the base of the skirt. The behind of this skirt overlaps ina way that the eyes preview it as a pair of trousers (almost). Wider set fabric than the front, the back drop as heavily.
Although listed as size 3, the skirt is actually free fitting, the idea being that the belt itself creates the sizing for the wearer, imitating a rouched affect of the wool, allowing it to fit the wearer as they see fit.
Two side pockets.
Made in Japan
Lying flat and untied, the waistline sits at 48cm. Is designed to be tied tighter to fit.
